Seasons Change
Life is full of transitions. Moses reminded Israel of this truth as he prepared them to enter the Promised Land: even though he would not go with them, God Himself would lead them forward (Deuteronomy 31:1–2).
Change can be uncomfortable. We like to feel in control, but the reality is that much of life is out of our hands. The good news? God’s plans are bigger, better, and always right on time. Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us: “For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.”
When life shifts, God’s presence never does. Just as the Israelites moved from the wilderness into the Promised Land, God promised to go before them (Deuteronomy 31:3). Seasons change—just like our weather, sports schedules, or school years—but His purpose stands firm (Proverbs 19:21).
How do we respond to change? With courage. God tells us: “Be strong and courageous… the Lord will never leave you nor forsake you” (Deuteronomy 31:6–8). Courage doesn’t mean we never feel fear—it means we trust God’s promises more than our fears.
I’ve seen this firsthand. When I went through a serious injury at 18, I had no idea how things would turn out. But God showed me His faithfulness. His promises are not “maybe” — they are a loud, resounding “YES and AMEN” (2 Corinthians 1:20).
Here’s the bottom line:
No matter what season you’re stepping into, remember—God is already there.

Here’s the bottom line:
- Transitions are part of God’s plan.
- God’s presence doesn’t change when seasons change.
- Courage grows when we trust His promises.
No matter what season you’re stepping into, remember—God is already there.
