Being patient means waiting with a cheerful heart, without complaining. It’s not easy to wait, especially when we are excited about something! But when we pray, we trust God to answer in His perfect timing. We are giving our heavy burdens to Someone much stronger — to God — and believing He will act for our good.

Prayer:
God, help us to trust You while we wait. Thank You that You always have the best timing. Help our hearts to be calm and patient as we trust Your plan. Amen.

The Holy Spirit helps us to be patient not only while we wait for things but also with other people. Patience means showing love, gentleness, and understanding when people make mistakes or are slow. When we show patience, people can see that we belong to Jesus!

Jesus, thank You for loving us even when we make mistakes. Help us to be patient with others the same way You are patient with us. Show us how to love people well. Amen.

God is incredibly patient with us because He loves us and doesn’t want anyone to stay lost in sin. The more time we spend with God, the more the Holy Spirit grows His patience in our hearts — like a fruit getting bigger and sweeter. Practicing patience, praying, reading Bible stories, and worshiping God helps us grow!

JesuHoly Spirit, grow Your patience in our hearts. Help us to practice waiting well and to love people the way You do. Thank You for being so patient with us. Amen.
