Day 1
Faith Fact
Jesus sees and cares for me.
Faith Verse
"I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
John 8:12
Question of the day:
Have you ever felt invisible or overlooked?
Read:
Isaiah 9:2
“The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness
a light has dawned.” (Isaiah 9:2)
Mary Magdalene was once stuck in deep darkness—sadness, fear, and shame. But when Jesus entered
her life, everything changed. She saw His love, and He saw her heart. Even when we feel invisible,
Jesus sees us and brings His light.
Talk About It:
• What do you think it means to “walk in darkness”?
• Why is it comforting that Jesus sees us even in our darkest times?
• How has Jesus helped you feel seen or known?
Prayer Activity:
Using a flashlight, go into a dark room and shine the light around. Thank Jesus that His light finds us—
even when we feel lost or alone. Pray for someone you know who might feel “in the dark” right now.
Prayer:
Thank you God for being the Light that shines in our darkness. When we feel afraid, sad, or alone, remind us that You see us—just like You saw Mary Magdalene. Thank You for loving us even when we don’t feel worthy, and for bringing hope into our hearts. In Jesus name, Amen.
Jesus sees and cares for me.

Day 2
Faith Fact
Jesus sees and cares for me.
Faith Verse
"I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
John 8:12
Question of the day:
How does it feel to know Jesus sees you?
Read:
John 8:12
"When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, 'I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.'" John 8:12
When Mary Magdalene saw Jesus’ face at the tomb, everything changed. It wasn’t just that He was
alive—it was that He saw her. God’s light entered her heart that day. The same thing happens when
we experience Jesus’ presence.
Talk About It:
• What does it mean to have God’s light in our hearts?
• How can we know more about God by looking at Jesus?
• When have you felt Jesus close to you?
Prayer Activity:
Place a mirror in front of a candle or light. Talk about how light reflects. Then, ask Jesus to let His
light shine through each of you, so others can see His love.
Prayer:
Thank you Jesus for being our Light. Help us reflect Your love so others can see Your goodness in us. Shine through our words and actions today. In Jesus name, Amen.
Jesus sees and cares for me.

Day 3
Faith Fact
Jesus sees and cares for me.
Faith Verse
"I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
John 8:12
Question of the day:
How do you think Mary felt when others judged her, but Jesus saw her heart?
Read:
2 Corinthians 4:6
“For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ made his light shine in our hearts to give us the
light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.” (2 Corinthians 4:6)
After Mary Magdalene encountered Jesus, she ran to tell the others. Her light was too bright to hide!
When Jesus helps us, He wants us to share that hope with others.
Talk About It:
• How has Jesus helped or cared for you?
• How can we be like light to others this week?
• Why is it important not to “hide” the good things Jesus has done?
Prayer Activity:
Draw or write the names of people in your life who need healing or help. Pray together, asking Jesus
to shine His light into their situations.
Prayer:
God, thank You for shining Your light in our hearts. Help us see Jesus clearly and show His love to others every day. Amen.
