Day 1
Faith Fact
Jesus is King, God, and Savior.
Faith Verse
"The Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness." John 1:14
Read:
Matthew 2:1-11
Have you ever worked really hard to find the perfect gift for someone you love? Maybe you made something by hand or searched store after store until you found just the right thing. Giving a meaningful gift is one way we show someone, “You matter to me.”
In today’s Bible story, the Wise Men traveled a long way to bring gifts to baby Jesus. These weren’t ordinary presents. They brought gold, frankincense, and myrrh—gifts that were very special in Bible times.
Gold was a gift for kings. This reminds us that Jesus is our King.
Frankincense was used in worship. This reminds us that Jesus is God.
The Wise Men may not have fully understood everything about Jesus yet, but they knew He was worthy of honor and worship. Their gifts showed their hearts.
Talk About It:
Prayer:
Jesus, You are our King and our God. Thank You for being worthy of all our worship. Help our family honor You with our words, choices, and love. Amen.
Jesus is King, God, and Savior.

Talk About It:
- What makes a gift special—not the price, but the meaning behind it?
- Why do you think the Wise Men were willing to travel so far to worship Jesus?
- How can our family show Jesus that He is our King today?
Prayer:
Jesus, You are our King and our God. Thank You for being worthy of all our worship. Help our family honor You with our words, choices, and love. Amen.
Day 2
Faith Fact
Jesus is King, God, and Savior.
Faith Verse

Read:
Matthew 2:1-11
The Wise Men also brought myrrh, a valuable oil used to prepare bodies for burial. This gift points to something important about Jesus’ life. Jesus didn’t just come to be born in a manger—He came with a purpose.
Jesus came to die on the cross so our sins could be forgiven. That means the greatest gift ever given wasn’t gold or perfume—it was Jesus giving His life for us.
When we choose to follow Jesus, obey His commands, and live in a way that honors Him, we are giving Him a gift in return. We are saying, “Jesus, my life belongs to You.” That kind of gift never wears out or breaks—it lasts forever.
Talk About It:
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for giving Your life for us. Help us live each day as a gift back to You. We want to follow You with our whole hearts. Amen.

- What do you think it means to give Jesus “our lives” as a gift?
- How can our family worship Jesus together this week?
- What is one small way each of us can honor Jesus today?
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for giving Your life for us. Help us live each day as a gift back to You. We want to follow You with our whole hearts. Amen.
