Day 1
Read: Hebrews 11:1-3
Power Verse: Hebrews 11:1
Talk About It:
What does it mean to have faith?
Faith means trusting God and believing His promises, even when we can’t see what will happen.
Think about some things you believe are true. Maybe you believe your family loves you, that your house is really there even when you aren't inside it, or that tomorrow will come even though you can't see tomorrow yet.
Faith is believing something is true even when you can't see it.
God has given us many promises in His Word. He promises that He loves us, that He will never leave us, that He hears us when we pray, and that Jesus gives us eternal life.
We don't have to wonder if God's promises are true. God always tells the truth. When God makes a promise, we can trust Him to keep it!
Our faith helps us believe God's promises—even when our circumstances don't look the way we expected.
Family Challenge:
Take turns naming one promise from the Bible that you can trust God to keep. Write each promise on a piece of paper and put them somewhere your family will see them this week.
Pray Together:
“God, thank You for all of Your promises. Help us believe that everything You say is true, even when we can't see what You are doing. Help our faith grow stronger every day. Amen.”

Day 2
Read: Titus 1:2 and Psalm 139:1-4
Talk About It:
Yesterday we learned that faith helps us believe God's promises. Today we're going to learn that faith helps us trust who God is.
What are some things we know about God?
God is loving.
God is kind.
God is powerful.
God knows everything.
God is always with us.
God created us.
God never lies.
Sometimes people or circumstances might make us wonder if God really cares about us. Maybe something doesn't go the way we wanted. Maybe we're having a really hard day. We might even wonder, “Where is God?”
But our faith isn't based on how we feel. Our faith is based on who God is. Titus 1:2 reminds us that God cannot lie. That means when God says He loves us, He loves us. When He says He will never leave us, He will never leave us. When He says He hears us, He hears us. Even when our feelings change, God doesn't change.
Family Activity: “Who Is God?”
Give everyone a piece of paper. Have each person write or draw three things they know are true about God.
For example:
Then have everyone share what they wrote.
Family Challenge:
The next time you have a difficult day this week, stop and say:
“My feelings may change, but God doesn't change. I can trust who He is.”
Pray Together:
“God, thank You for who You are. Thank You that You are good, loving, powerful, and trustworthy. Help us trust You even when we don't understand what is happening. Help us remember that You never change. Amen.”

- God loves me.
- God is always with me.

- God hears my prayers.
- God is good.
Then have everyone share what they wrote.

Day 3
Read: Romans 10:17 and James 1:22
Talk About It:
Imagine that you are walking through a dark room and someone you completely trust tells you where to step. You can't see everything around you, but you listen carefully to their voice and follow their instructions.
That's a little bit like what it means to follow God by faith.
Sometimes we don't know what is going to happen next. We don't know how a problem will turn out. We don't know what God is going to ask us to do.
But we can still follow Him.
Faith doesn't mean we know everything that will happen. Faith means we trust the One who does.
So where does faith come from?
Romans 10:17 tells us that faith comes from hearing God's Word. The more we read God's Word, learn about Jesus, pray, and listen to what God says, the more our faith grows. But faith isn't just about hearing God's Word. James 1:22 tells us that we need to do what God's Word says.
When God tells us to forgive someone, we follow Him by forgiving.
When God tells us to be kind, we choose kindness.
When God tells us to tell the truth, we tell the truth.
When God tells us to love others, we choose love.
Every time we listen to God and follow Him, we're putting our faith into action!
Family Activity: “Follow My Voice”
Have one family member close their eyes while another family member gives them simple directions to walk from one side of the room to the other.
Keep it safe and simple—no obstacles needed!
Afterward, ask:
Family Challenge:
Choose one thing God asks us to do in His Word and practice it together today.
For example, your family could choose to:
Pray Together:
“God, thank You that we can trust You even when we don't know what is going to happen next. Help us listen to Your Word and follow You. Give us strong faith that doesn't depend on what we can see. Help us put our faith into action every day. Amen.”

Afterward, ask:
- Was it easy or hard to follow directions when you couldn't see?
- What helped you know where to go?
- Why is it important to listen carefully to God?
- How can we listen to God every day?
Family Challenge:
Choose one thing God asks us to do in His Word and practice it together today.
For example, your family could choose to:
- Encourage someone.
- Forgive someone.
- Help someone who needs it.
- Pray for someone.
- Show kindness to someone.
- Tell someone about Jesus.
